How to Play Marble Chess

Start by opening the game menu and choosing how you want to play.

New Game vs PC: Play a chess match against the computer. You control the white pieces and make the first move.

Multiplayer Game: Select the multiplayer option to access the private-game interface, where multiplayer matches can be created or joined using a room code.

To move a piece, click the chess piece you want to use. The board will display its available legal moves. Click one of the highlighted squares to complete your move.

Each chess piece moves differently. Pawns advance forward and capture diagonally. Knights move in an L-shaped pattern. Bishops move diagonally, rooks move horizontally or vertically, queens can move in any straight or diagonal direction, and kings move one square at a time.

Your objective is to attack the opposing king until it has no legal way to escape. This is checkmate, and it wins the game.

Marble Chess also supports important traditional chess rules, including castling, en passant, pawn promotion, check, checkmate, and stalemate.

Use Flip Board to change your viewing perspective. The game also keeps track of captured pieces, move history, and each player's remaining time.

Use the Sound button to turn the game's music and sound effects on or off, and select Fullscreen for a larger playing area.

Plan ahead, protect your king, control the center of the board, and look for opportunities to put your opponent in checkmate.
