Super Mario Bros 3 World 1 Fortress Level Boss Skip Secret

If you are new to Super Mario Bros 3, you probably have not heard of this old trick. Mostly 90s gamers know this one already. The skip is quite simple, the level is only about a minute long, yet the boss skip to get the secret word jump flute is worth your while. As long as you are able to fly on this fortress you have one half of the trick. Once you reach the area with the skeleton turtle where the boss fight door is, you have to fly up and reach the top of the area of the bricks. Run to the right until the screen stops moving and press the up button on the dpad to access the secret chamber where the flute is.
