After months of development, testing, balancing, visual upgrades, new enemies, major boss encounters, multiplayer improvements, and many community-driven changes, Sector Alpha is now complete and ready to play!
Sector Alpha has grown from a small browser-based space shooter into a massive top-down space adventure filled with dangerous sectors, alien creatures, hostile pilots, enormous bosses, hidden technology, ship customization, crafting, exploration, and multiplayer combat.
Pilots can now travel through a large network of handcrafted sectors, each featuring its own atmosphere, enemies, challenges, and rewards.

The Alpha-sector campaign maps
A new Sector Alpha update adds pilot ranks and makes combat damage easier to read.
As your pilot gains levels, your rank advances from Cadet to Supreme Commander. Each rank adds a bonus to XP, credits, overall damage, and shields. The bonus starts at 1% and increases with each level, reaching a maximum of 20% at level 20. That bonus stays capped at 20% as you continue leveling.
Your rank badge now stays visible beneath your ship, with your ship’s name beside it, so you can keep track of your pilot identity during a fight.
When several laser hits land on the same alien during a frame, their damage now appears as one combined number instead of multiple individual popups. This makes busy fights easier to follow and reduces the extra work created by repeated damage visuals. Multiplayer combat shares the combined damage…
