The dominoes table is getting a new way to bring friends together! The latest game build adds online multiplayer rooms, host approval, and an in-game chat panel—so you can focus on matching tiles and enjoying the match. 🏆
🌐 Create a room and invite a friend
Choose Online Multiplayer and create a room. Once the host is connected and the lobby says “Room ready,” share the six-character room code with your opponent. They can enter the code to request to join.
The host stays in control of the table: you can approve or reject a join request before the match begins. Keep the lobby open while your opponent connects, then get ready to play! 🤝
💬 Chat from the table
Once both players are connected, the multiplayer chat appears in the bottom-left corner of the game. Send a quick hello, celebrate a good play, or plan your next move. You can collapse the chat panel whenever you want more room to focus on the dominoes. 💬✨
🛠️ A dedicated multiplayer connection
Dominoes now uses its own signaling Worker, separate from the service used by our other games. That keeps its room traffic easier to track and manage. The game build also has clearer room-ready and connection messages to help players understand when it’s time to join—or when they should try again. 🚦
