A post-apocalyptic wasteland known as the "Wasteland," where survival is a constant struggle. The game's plot follows the story of Max Rockatansky, a former police officer turned lone warrior, as he navigates the desolate landscape and seeks revenge on the ruthless warlord, Scabrous Scrotus.
The game is set in the same universe as the popular Mad Max film series, with the events taking place after the collapse of civilization. Max's iconic vehicle, the Magnum Opus, is stolen by Scrotus and his gang, leaving Max stranded in the Wasteland. Determined to retrieve his prized possession and seek vengeance, Max teams up with a skilled mechanic named Chumbucket, who helps him build a new and formidable vehicle to aid in their quest.
