A grand and epic sci-fi adventure set in the expansive universe of the Halo franchise. The game's plot continues the story of the iconic Spartan super-soldier, known as the Master Chief, and introduces new challenges and mysteries.
The game begins after the events of Halo 5: Guardians, with the Master Chief adrift in space aboard the remains of the UNSC ship, the Forward Unto Dawn. He is awoken by a distress signal from a mysterious pilot named "the Pilot" and together they find themselves on a broken Halo ring known as Zeta Halo. The ring is overrun by a hostile faction called the Banished, led by the merciless warlord Escharum.
